Pancake Claire and a perfectly formed selection of The Curious Pancake's goodies will be appearing at The Malt Cross in Nottingham on Sunday 20th August for another ace fair by the Handmade Nottingham gals!
The location of The Malt Cross for these markets is truly inspired. The Malt Cross pub on St James’ Street in Nottingham City Centre is just a short walk from the Market Square, and next door to the Handmade Nottingham Shop. St James Street is fast becoming one of the best streets for independent shopping in Nottingham! If you come along on the day, you should also visit Pop Press and Dukki Gifts on the same street for some fantastic wares from talented locals.
The Malt Cross was built in 1877 and is one of only a few Victorian Music Halls still standing. The interior is really special, featuring a glass arched roof, period features and decor, and, crucially a bar selling lots of lovely drinks and food.
For each market, Handmade Nottingham beautifully transform the space, filling the tables with stalls and decorating the building with handmade garlands especially for the market.
You'll find over 20 fantastic stalls selling handmade items as well as crafts and design, so pop on down from 11am-5pm and grab yourself something awesome! It's also Pancake Claire's 40th birthday weekend, so feel free to bring her a slice of cake or half a cheeky lager to jolly her along on the day!
We look forward to seeing you there! For more information on the exhibitors visit Handmade Nottingham Market's website here: Handmade Nottingham Market
