David Shrigley studied Art and Design at Leicester Poly in 1987, and later environmental art at Glasgow School of Art, he spent time working as a Gallery Guide before becoming a full-time artist when his figurative pieces became popular. Shrigley's works have been showcased in New York, London, Paris, Copenhagen, and LA, and many of his pieces sit in collections such as the Tate, the Arts Council Collection, and the Museum of Modern Art and he has been nominated for a Turner Prize. Added to this, his work has much humour and swears, which I fucking love.
